Why I choose my major

Hello everyone! Today I want to tell you how I decided to enter my current career.  S ince I was a little girl I loved to draw, that's why my family has encouraged me to exploit that talent. That's how, when I was 12 years old, I decided that I would dedicate myself to art.  However, as I grew older, I became interested in history and politics. That is why, when I graduated from high school, I was quite confused about what I would decide to study. The art was in my mind, but I was interested in social movements and the human rigths. I took a year to think things through, so, I studied and educated myself a lot about the Social Sciences, so I considered studying Law, Political Science or International Studies.  Finally, after knowing my results of the university admission test, I entered to study Political Science at the University of Chile. Hello, welcome to my new blog!      M y name is Catalina Valdés Blanchemin, I'm from Santiago, Chile and I was born on April 4th, 2001 (so, I'm only 20 years old). First of all, I want to talk a little bit about my family: I live with my parents and my older brother in a middle class house in La Florida. I've always thought that makes us a very regular family, because we fit perfectly into the prototype of four members and a very old dog. Now then, I'll tell you a little bit about my life. I graduated from high school in 2018 and, the next year, I dedicated myself to continuing my education to retake the college entrance exam.
